Welcome to Kamalig Garden Cafe, a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Midtown 3 in Cainta, Metro Manila. This enchanting cafe is not just a place to grab a bite; it’s an immersive experience that promises to transport you to a world where vintage charm meets modern comfort.

As you step inside, you’ll be enveloped by a welcoming and cozy atmosphere designed to encourage leisurely moments of 'tambay'—the Filipino art of lounging. The interior is adorned with vibrant houseplants and rustic decor, conjuring a nostalgic vibe that perfectly complements the delightful offerings on the menu. You’ll marvel at the clever touches, such as the mini sari-sari store and a Game of Thrones corner featuring a classic 90s TV and cassette player!

The menu at Kamalig Garden Cafe features a delectable selection of Filipino comfort food that caters to all tastes. Whether you’re craving hearty silog meals, cheesy pasta, or a slice of gourmet pizza, you won't leave disappointed. My personal favorite? The Triple Choco Champorado—a rich delight that offers a thick, indulgent taste that's perfect for chocolate lovers. Customers rave about the sisig platter and chicken alfredo as well, noting that the portion sizes offer tremendous value for money.

Despite the overwhelmingly positive feedback on the food and ambiance, some patrons have pointed out opportunities for improvement, particularly with the beverage sizes. Eliza Erin Reyes mentions that while the coffee is affordable, the serving sizes can feel a tad small. However, she praises the attentive and friendly staff who enhance your experience. Similarly, Michael Rod Macabingkil echoes this sentiment, appreciating the pet-friendly environment and the accommodating service, making it a great spot to enjoy meals with friends.

The garden-like setting of Kamalig offers another layer of charm. Shiel Tagaro captures this beautifully: “Tucked away in a cozy, gardenlike setting, this café instantly transports you to a different era with its vintage charm.” Whether you choose to enjoy your meal indoors amidst the lush decor or opt for a seat in the open air, your visit promises a slice of tranquility.

If you’re looking for a delightful cafe that serves up both atmosphere and comfort food, Kamalig Garden Cafe is a must-visit. With its inviting charm and community-driven vibe, it’s a place where you can relax, unwind, and savor every moment. So grab your friends, indulge in delicious dishes, and be prepared to make lasting memories in this captivating oasis!

Ambiance is their selling point. Its good to have some tambay moments here, Food is affordable and decent taste. Coffee is naaah, its cheap but their glass/cup is so small and beans is not that good. The staff are nice, accomodating and very attentive. Overall, i would still recommend to try it.

One of my top 3 favorite cafes I’ve ever been to. The travel from Parañaque to Marikina just to visit this place was so worth it. I loved all the houseplants, the interior design is so homey and so artistic at the same time. I love how there are some cute personal touches like the mini sari sari store and the Game of Thrones corner by the 90s TV and cassette. The food is amazing as well. I ordered the Kare Kare and I asked for a Barista’s Choice drink. They made me this cute Peanut Butter and Jelly drink that complimented my Kare Kare really well. Overall I had the best experience and I’d love to come back very soon. The biggest edge of this cafe is its distinct personality. It’s definitely one of a kind. I highly recommend it.

The place is a little difficult to locate, but the atmosphere and the vibe is great. Pet friendly, the staff are very accommodating and friendly. The food is good, we ordered sisig platter and chicken alfredo, the serving size is huge for its price. The only disappointment is their beverage size it’s too small and a bit pricy. Overall, we will return with friends. Definitely a good place to hangout with friends

Kamalig Garden Cafe offers a rustic and homey ambiance, providing a refreshing escape from typical modern cafes. The menu features Filipino comfort food, including pasta, pizza, sandwiches, and silog meals. Beverage options are extensive, with coffee selections like the cold Atok honey citrus. Food and drinks are satisfactory. The cafe’s design, blending rustic elements with lush plants, contributes to its unique charm. Friendly and accommodating ang mga staff. The prices are affordable. We went here during the evening and we chose to dine in their garden. There were a lot of mosquitoes and it made our experience uncomfortable.

Tucked away in a cozy, garden-like setting, this café instantly transports you to a different era with its vintage charm. The aesthetic mix of old appliances and rustic decor creates a warm, nostalgic vibe, making it the perfect spot to unwind. As for the food, we were pleasantly surprised by both the quality and portions. The Triple Choco Champorado was a rich, indulgent treat—thick, and packed with deep chocolate flavors. Their Bangsilog exceeded expectations with its generous serving; the crispy yet tender bangus paired well with garlicky rice and a perfectly cooked egg. The Kamalig Allsilog offered a satisfying variety, making it a hearty choice for big appetites. To top it all off, the Hot Choco S’mores was a sweet, comforting finish, with rich chocolate and a perfectly torched marshmallow adding a delightful touch. Overall, the combination of nostalgic ambiance, generous portions, and well-executed flavors makes this café a hidden gem worth visiting.

A rustic garden with a cozy, homey vibe—like visiting your lola’s house. We came here for lunch on a Monday, and upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and assisted by their friendly staff. We tried the crispy kare kare & cheesy beef caldereta. The servings were generous, and the food was delicious-perfect comfort food! Our fave was the pinsec frito. Drinks (we got the house blend iced tea & ube affogato) were also good. Ideal for families and close friends. Bonus points for being pet friendly! Definitely worth the visit from QC! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The place is nice, staff and even the collaborators of the place are really friendly. The food and drinks are nice, ordered tapsilog and its nice and tender, and the flavors are balanced. Their coffee is also nice. The ambiance of the place is remarkable, it brings you to a past bygone era of the Philippines. It has a lot of old and retro décors that would reminice you of the olden days. Despite it all, the only thing concerning for me is the amount of mosquitoes present in the place, understandable for being a garden café, but still concerning. Another plus is they care for stray cats in the place. Overall its nice, would be back, and excited to try their other food and drink offerings.
